Wilma I. Robinson CHRISTOPHER-Wilma I. Robinson, 85, of Christopher formerly of Goreville passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009 in West Frankfort. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Reverend Don Colson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM, until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Frankfort Health and Rehab, envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Wilma was born October 26, 1923, in Goreville to Lamm and Alberta (Burleson) Wilson. She is survived by her daughters, Shirley & Calvin Walker of Wilmington, Illinois and Peggy & Joe Rider of Christopher, Illinois; step-children Ruth and Dorothy; grandchildren, Carla Sue & Mike Key, Shirley Michelle & Don Austill, Penny Rider, Waylon Rider, Paula Jean & Terry Arpp, Shawn Hendricks, Earl Sloan Jr., Maurice Lynch, Marsha & Richard Barr, Rhonda & Victor Pedretti; several great-grandchildren; sister, Nellie Wright of Makanda, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Paula; 5 step-children; sisters, Agnes Jolly, Clara Stroud, and Jeannie Barber; brothers, Columbus Wilson, John Wilson, and Cline Wilson. Wilma was retired from Selmier-Peerless in Carbondale. She was a member of the Church of God in Carbondale. She loved to quilt and crochet.
