Wilma Dudley

Marion-Wilma J. (Baccus) Dudley, 80, passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 2:58 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Wilma was born on April 11, 1933 in Karnak to Clifford and Tressie Baccus. She married Jack Dudley in Karnak on September 30, 1955; he preceded her in death on June 25, 2007. She was a Christian and longtime member of the Third Baptist Church of Marion. Wilma volunteered with the Illinois Black Lung Association. She enjoyed crocheting and made hand crafts in her past time. Wilma is survived by: Daughter-Jacklyn Dudley of Murray, KY Nieces-Martha Veatch and Jennifer Baccus Nephews-Michael Hall and Jonathan Baccus Sister-in-law-Jane Baccus Special friend-Marjorie Davidson She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister and brother in law; Margie and Harold Hall; brother, Charles Baccus. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion, Illinois with the Rev. Scott Kallem officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer, memorials may be made to Third Baptist Church or the Dudley Family Scholarship Fund at Murray State University and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N.
