Wilma B. Dillon 86, of Fort Walton Beach, FL, formerly of Marion, passed away on February 7, 2012, in Destin, Florida.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2012 in the chapel at Hillcrest Memorial Cemetery in Centralia, IL.
She was born on May 4, 1925, in Marion County Illinois to Frank and Lilly (Breeze) Barton. After marrying Charles B. Dillon, her husband of 30 years, she moved several times before settling in Marion.
Mrs. Dillon is survived by her daughter, Paula Warren of Fort Walton Beach, FL; grandchildren, Andrea Chrest (David) of Downingtown, PA, Michael Stevenson (Debbie) of Lomira, WI, Robert Stevenson, Jr. (Money) of Fredricksburg, VA, and Jerry Black (Jodi) of Johnstown, CO; great grandchildren, Matthew Chrest, Amy Chrest, Robert Stevenson, III, and Jacob Black, and a brother, Frank Keith Barton of Hannibal, MO.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lilly Barton; husband, Charles B. Dillon; daughter, Deanna Kennedy; sisters, Creta Moore, Vera Telford, Mildred Flowers, and Merle Byrd; brothers, Lloyd, Landis and Lawrence Barton.
Her early years were spent in the Centralia area where she worked as a beautician eventually owning her own beauty shop. After the death of her husband, she moved to Fort Walton Beach, FL, to be near her daughter. She was active in her church and enjoyed working with computers, photography, needlework and traveling.
