William Girtman

Goreville-William (Bill) G. Girtman, 85, of Ogallaga, formerly of Goreville, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2014. William was born on June 17, 1928 in Illmo, MO to Gene and Opal Girtman. He retired after 33 years working for the telephone company. William was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. After retiring he resided at his home on Lake McConaughy near Ogallaga, NE. William is survived by his son, two sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 10 am on Friday, May 2, 2014, at the Busby Cemetery in Goreville, IL with Dr. Ron Ferguson officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Busby Cemetery and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ PO Box 411/ Marion, IL 62959.
