William David Sullivan

Tunnel Hill- William “David” Sullivan, age 46, of Tunnel Hill, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Herrin Hospital.  William was born July 4, 1968 to Bill and Grace (Casey) Sullivan in Harrisburg.  He graduated from Marion High School and then graduated from Southeastern Illinois College with an Associate Degree in Forestry. He started his career with the Missouri Department of Conservation and continued his career for twenty-one years with Mark Twain National Forest. David absolutely loved the outdoors and spent a lot of time enjoying his hobbies of hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, spending time at the river and much more.  He collected guns, coins, and Indian artifacts.  He had a big heart and was always so generous, always ready to help anyone in need.  He dearly loved his children and family. Nothing made his happier than being with his family.  Survivors include his parents- Bill and Grace Sullivan of Tunnel Hill Children- Emily Sullivan of St. Louis, MO      Luke and Erica Sullivan of Rolla, MO Sister- Angie (Preston) Harner of Tunnel Hill Nieces and Nephews- Colton, Sarah, and Katie Harner of Tunnel Hill Uncles, Aunts, and many Cousins  He was preceded in death by his grandparents- Ralph and Ada Sullivan; grandparents- Howard and Verla Casey; and uncle- Bob Sullivan.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.  There will be no services held at this time.
