William "Bill" Fisher, Sr.

William “Bill” A. Fisher, Sr., 77, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at 4:45am at his home in Marion after a short battle with cancer.

Bill was born on August 18, 1942 in Chicago to Joseph and Ann (Lorence) Fisher.  He married Cynthia A. Panavas on December 4, 1963 and she preceded him in death on July 18, 1980.

Bill owned Fisher’s Welding and Radiator Repair for over 60 years.  He was a member of the Eagles Club in Marion and enjoyed stock car racing and watching it.  Bill loved his cattle, his dogs and cats and was a jokester who enjoyed making his family and friends laugh.

Son-William “Bill Jr.” Fisher of Marion

Daughter-Sheri L. Fisher of Olney

Grandchildren-Ashley (Austin) Wyatt of Olney and Victoria “Tori” Barnes of Marion

Great grandchildren-Cayden Wyatt and Braelyn Wyatt

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

Bill’s wishes were to be cremated and private services are being held.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
