William “Bud” Anderson
CREAL SPRINGS-William “Bud” Anderson, 69, of Creal Springs passed away at 4:50 AM, Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, March 31, 2006 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, March 30, 2006 at funeral home. Burial will be at Simmons Cemetery in Creal Springs. Military rites will be held at the cemetery by VFW Post 1301 and American Legion Post 147.
Mr. Anderson was born on June 26, 1936 in Creal Springs, Illinois to Robert M. and Ruby (Harris) Anderson. He married June Powell on September 2, 1971 in Marion, Illinois.
Survivors include his wife; daughter and son-in-law, Amber and Jeremy Deaton of Creal Springs; grandchildren, Tyler and Brett Deaton; sisters and brothers-in-law, LuDene and Harold Thompson of Creal Springs and Lena and Pat Hollock of Ashville, Alabama; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gerald and Mildred Anderson of Creal Springs, Ralph and Sue Anderson of Lexington, Tennessee and Albert and Lillie Anderson of Thompsonville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Donna and Pete Glodjo of Marion; sister-in-law, Judy Powell of Creal Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother and sister-in-law, James and Rita Anderson.
Mr. Anderson retired from the Heating and Cooling Industry. He was an ordained minister and attended Antioch Church in Stonefort. He served his country in the United States Army.
He loved to fish and hunt, but above all else he loved to spend time with his family and friends.
