Wesley Allen Moyer Marion- Wesley Moyer, 77, of Marion passed away at 2:20 Am on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 in Herrin Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion; Reverend Tim Ozment will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM – 2 PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Beulah Church Camp in Eldorado. Envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent C/O Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL, 62959. Wesley was born on January 29, 1934 in Indianapolis, IN. He married Jean Malone on June 8, 1963 in Marion. Survivors include his wife; sister, Barbara Day; brother, Robert Moyer; nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Moyer. Wesley was a faithful member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was a meat cutter for over 40 years; working at such places as Bay’s and Kroger. He loved NASCAR racing, fishing and traveling with his wife Jean.
