Wanda Lee Clendenin MARION-Wanda Lee Clendenin, 78, of Marion passed away at 10:00 PM, Friday, November 10, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 13, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Cecil Clendenin officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Scottsboro Baptist Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home and the church or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Wanda was born on August 13, 1928 in Scottsboro, Illinois to Lee and Eula (Emery) Clendenin. Wanda was a member of the Scottsboro Baptist Church in Marion. She was a graduate of LeMaster School and Marion Township High School, Class of 1946. She worked at Radionics in the Ordill area and at Tuck Tape in Carbondale. Survivors include her niece, Carrol and John Zeigler; nephews, Keith Clendenin and his fiancé, Martha Tanner and Steve and Lisa Clendenin; great nieces, Crystal and John Davis, Robin and Jim Palmer and Kerry Clendenin; great nephews, Matt Clendenin, Luke Clendenin and his fiancé, Amy Oetjen, and Curt Clendenin; great great nieces, Ashtyn Davis and Adrianna Palmer; great great nephew, Austin Baker; sister-in-law, Barbara Clendenin; uncle, Virgil Clendenin; and many cousins and friends in the community. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Jewell and Ted Cravens; brother, Curt Clendenin; and an infant brother, Roy Clendenin.
