Wanda Hearn

Marion-Wanda L. Hearn, 82, passed away at 8:40pm on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Helia Healthcare in Energy. Wanda was born on December 15, 1931 in Pittsburg to Esco and Betty (Patterson) Edwards. She married John Hearn on September 7, 1951 in Pittsburg. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2008. Wanda attended Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and will be missed by all. Survivors include: Children: Vicky and Ron Oakley of Marion Larry and Susan Hearn of Pittsburg Cathy and David Penley of Marion Grandchildren: Jeremy Oakley Ryan and Melise Oakley Micha and Alisha Oakley Jennifer and Shawn Davies Tonya and Kyle Browning Jamey and Andrew Rogers Chris and Jennifer Penley Seventeen great grandchildren Sister-Irene Pierce of Salem She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Esco Edwards, Jr., Kenneth Edwards, Cletus E. Edwards; sisters, Jewel Hartwell, Rosemond Parton, Geraldine Venus and infant sister, Juanita Edwards. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 11am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Paulton with Rev. Eddie Donelson officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial donations are suggested to the Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church youth group and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
