Vito Martinez CRAINVILLE–Vito Martinez, 75, of Crainville passed away at 7:12 AM, Monday, December 21, 2009 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2009 at the Pittsburg Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Brett Beasley officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Vito was born June 15, 1934 in Chicago to Ladislau and Maria (Martinez) Martinez. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Randy Francis of Marion; son, Jeff Martinez of Elgin; step-children, Joey Shulda, Jacklyn Burford and Terah Bielec; grandchildren, Steven Martinez, Bobby Smith, Cody Shulda and Brian Martinez; sisters, Cruz, Margaret and Fina; and brothers, Gravo and Marty. He was preceded in death by his parents. Vito worked as a tool and dye finisher. He enjoyed camping and music.
