Virginia Wolaver

Creal Springs-Virginia R. Wolaver, 81, passed away at 10:24 am on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Virginia was born October 12, 1931 in Prescott, Arkansas to Raymond and Myrtie (Renfro) Buie.  She married Billie G. Wolaver, he precedes her in death on August 31, 2006. She was a beautician for many years and owned her own salon.  Virginia most enjoyed working in her garden and spending time in the kitchen canning her own produce.  She loved to travel and her favorite hobby was to crochet.  Virginia spent much of her time reading the Bible, reflecting upon the teachings of the Lord, her faith here on earth has lead her home in Heaven. Survivors Include: Son-Danny R. Wolaver of Creal Springs Grandchildren: Daniel R. Wolaver of Creal Springs Dana R. (Matthew) Martin of Johnston City Two great grandchildren Sister-Fran Slivinski of New Burnside Neice-Christina L. Slivinski of Ozark Nephews: Steven P. Slivinski and wife, Della A. Slivinksi Peter J. Slivinski, Jr. and wife, Brandi Slivinski Several great nieces and nephews Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers; Jerry Buie and George Buie. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, July 31 at 11 am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Bill Schell officiating. Burial will follow at Goddard Cemetery in Creal Springs.  Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
