Virginia “GiGi” Gallion
MARION-Virginia “GiGi” Gallion, 84, of Marion passed away at 7:45 AM, Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 12, 2006 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Joey Brent officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, September 11, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Marion.

Mrs. Gallion was born May 15, 1922 in Marion, Illinois to Irvin and Letha (Douglas) Lang. She married Gene Wilkins who preceded her in death in 1989 and later married Wilburn “Wink” Gallion.
Survivors include her husband, “Wink” of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Shari (Chestosky) and Gale Jeter of Marion; grandsons and their wives, Kyle and Sylvia Jeter of Florida and Kerry and Sarah Jeter of Kentucky; great grandchildren, Chanel Beharrie and Kyle Sebastian Jeter; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Dorotha Lang of Marion; sister, Phyllis Cacioppo of California; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Gene Wilkins.
Mrs. Gallion was a longtime member of the Marion First Baptist Church. Because of her love of singing, she participated in the Joy Singers at First Baptist Church for many years. She was a homemaker. She had a wonderful since of humor and enjoyed life to its fullest and will be missed by all.
