MARION-Virginia Eggen, 80, of Marion passed away at 10:10 PM, Monday, January 31, 2005 at Helia Health Care Center in Energy. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at McKinney Chapel, south of Marion with Reverend Kevin McNeely officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, February 2, 2005 at McKinney Chapel. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at McKinney Chapel Cemetery. Ms. Eggen was born on April 14, 1924, in Hays, Kansas to William and Elizabeth (Bieker) Wasinger. She married Floyd Eggen and he survives. Other survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Reverend Kenny Blumenstock of Marion; grandsons, Matthews and Randall Blumenstock; brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Pearl Wasinger of Elgin, Harold and Marilyn Wasinger of Belvidere, and Wilifred Wasinger of Kingman, Arizona; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, William Eggen, Terry Eggen, and Gordon Eggen; and granddaughter, Ashliegh Blumenstock. Ms. Eggen worked as a hairdresser
