Victoria Grace Barrass

JOHNSTON CITY - Victoria Grace Barrass, 1 year and 7 months old, passed away at 4:38 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, in Herrin Hospital with her parents by her side. Victoria was born to Jerry M. and Kenna (Eyestone) Barrass Thursday, July 28, 2011, in Marion. Services for Victoria will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, in Pittsburg Freewill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Eddie Donelson officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. A time of gathering for family and friends will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. The family requests that memorial donations be given in Victoria's name to a charity they hold dear, UT Le Bonheur Pediatric Specialists. Envelopes will be available during services or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Victoria is survived by her parents, Jerry and Kenna of Johnston City; best big brother in the world, Landen Whitehead; maternal grandmother, Victoria Eyestone; paternal grandfather, Jerry L. Barrass; aunt, Brenda and Chris Cullum; uncles, Jeremy and Tara Eyestone, Chad and Tracy Barras and "special uncle," Zach 'Zachy' Eyestone and several cousins. Victoria was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Martha Barrass. The family wishes to express their special angel will be missed by all who had the great fortune of knowing her.
