Verla Imogene Brush

Creal Springs-Verla Imogene Brush, 81, passed away at 10:48pm on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Imogene was born on August 7, 1934 in Johnson County to Raymond and Bertie (Dees) Heck.  She married Charles Brush on May 3, 1952 in Crab Orchard.  He survives of Creal Springs. Imogene loved to crochet.  She enjoyed camping and listening to bluegrass and gospel music. Survivors include: Husband-Charles Brush of Creal Springs Children: Sharon and Ken Mausey of CO Allan and Jamie Brush of Creal Springs Grandchildren: Sean and Jamie Mausey Julie and Alex Tecklenburg Sarah and Dillion Pyron Hannah Brush Grand dog Buddy Great grandchildren: Jacob Tecklenburg Caleb Tecklenburg Lily Mausey One on the way-Ruby Pyron Several nieces and nephews Imogene was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Kenneth and Lucille Heck, Genevieve and Bill Carmichael, Helen and Carroll Chamness and Donald and Betty Heck. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 2pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jeff Owens and Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating.  Burial will follow at Simmons Cemetery in Creal Springs.  Visitation will also be on Sunday from 12pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
