Thelma S. Lannom MARION-Thelma S. Lannom, 93, of Marion passed away at 10:56 AM, Thursday June 30, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Joey Brent officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Mrs. Lannom was born on September 23, 1911 in Chamness Town, Illinois to Hardy Wesley and Emma (Frey) Conley. She married Harry Lee Lannom on February 9, 1928 in Williamson County. He preceded her in death on March 24, 1987. She is survived by children, Billie Wayne and Aileen Lannom of Genoa, Illinois, Jack and Jo Ann Lannom of Clyde, Texas, Sharon Lee Grady of Marion, Karen Sue and Don Beyer of Elgin, Illinois, Gary Lynn Lannom of Marion, Kay and Joe Heinecke of Ixonia, Wisconsin, Rick Lannom of Herrin, Illinois; several grandchildren and great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sons, Wesley Eugene Lannom, Donnie Lee Lannom; daughter, Judy Ann Lannom; brothers, James H. Conley, Howard Conley, Virgil Conley, Clifton Conley, sisters, Wavie Tyner, Flossie Adams, Mary Tibbals, Katie Hutchinson. Mrs. Lannom was a devout Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church. She lived for her children and was loved by everyone.
