Terry L. Gill

Marion- Terry L. Gill, age 62, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at his home in Marion. Terry was born in Carbondale on January 6, 1952, the son of James and Mildred (Creal) Gill. He married Wilma Leonard in Marion on September 8, 1979. She survives in Marion. Mr. Gill attended the MarionFirstFreewillBaptistChurch. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. Terry was a very good person, who was loved by all and loved all. He never failed to show up when there was a need. He will be missed by all. Survivors include his wife- Wilma Gill of Marion Daughter-Brittany Gill of Marion Grandchildren- Josh Gill, Nevaeh Gill, and Shadrach Richardson Brother- Dick and Pat Gill of Marion Brother- James Gill of Marion Special Niece- Beth McNeil of Marion Special Friends- Josh and Michelle Carman Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law- Icie Leonard, father-in-law- Shelby Leonard, nephews- Keith Parton and Shelby Heltsley, and brothers-in-law- Johnny Leonard, Shelby E. Leonard, Harold Parton, and Lynn Heltsley. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Gene Howell officiating. Burial will follow at MarionCityCemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
