Terry Allan Barnett, Sr. Terry Allan Barnett, Sr., 58, of Mazon, IL, formerly of Southern Illinois passed away at 12:15 AM at Morris Hospital in Morris, IL. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Greg Eastman officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wolf Creek Cemetery in Carbondale. Blue Funeral Home of Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements. Terry was born on March 9, 1952 in Carbondale, IL to Delbert Lee & Kathryn Irene (McGee) Barnett. He married Gertrude Faith Jackson on June 1, 1974 in Flint, MI. They shared 36 years together and three children. Terry is survived by his loving wife, Faith; daughter, Brandie & Mike Fisher of Gardner, IL; sons, Terry Allan Barnett, Jr. & Jeremy Barnett both of Mazon, IL; grandchildren, Emily Wachowski, Noah Fisher and Hunter Barnett; sister, Linda & Mike Dunavan of Cambria, IL; brothers, Gary & Janet Barnett of Chicago, IL and Bruce & Laurie Barnett of Flint, MI; half-brothers, David Barnett, Larry Barnett and James McDougall all from Burton, MI; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two uncles, Dewie McGee & Lory Barnett. Terry loved to spend time fishing and hunting. He was in love with nature and being in the outdoors. He worked at the Caterpillar Tractor Company in Joliet, IL for 36 years as a welder and hydraulic operator. His greatest joy was teasing his grandchildren.
