Sylvia Doron Danko MARION-Sylvia Doron Danko, 75, of Marion passed away at 5:15AM, Saturday, April 17, 2004 at her residence surrounded by her family. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, April 19, 2004 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Randy Allison officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, April 18, 2004 at the funeral home. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs, IL. Memorials may be made to the Marion Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #2457. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent co: Blue Funeral Home PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Sylvia was born on November 8, 1928 in Williamson County to Dewitt and Edith (Midgett) Almaroad. She married Henry Doron and he preceded her in death on December 20, 1965. She remarried John Danko and he survives. Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Lela Mae and Garry Auton of Marion, Connie and Larry Bean of Sparta, IL, and Vicky and David Borum of Creal Springs, IL; grandchildren, Garry Lee Auton, Todd Auton, Amy Richey, Jill Coombes, and Russell Borum; great grandchildren, Keegan Borum, Faith Borum, Steven Davie, and Elizabeth Shadowens; sister, Marie Hewitt, Moline, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother and sister. Sylvia retired after many years as a beautician. For several years she was the President of the Marion Eagles Ladies Auxiliary #2457. She was also a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Parrish Park Christian Church.
