Sabana was known to most as Sue or Susie and to all as a gentle friend. The highlight of her life was being Mrs. Bill Wright for 56 years, raising their four children, entertaining first her grand children and later her great-grand children. She was baptized at the age of 12 in Lake Michigan and into the Joppa Baptist Church at age 72. She lived most of her life in Southern Illinois. She spent her later years in West Paducah, Kentucky and remained active until the last month. We are grateful to New Haven Assisted Living for those 4 weeks of support and to Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation for all their efforts the last 36 hours. She accepted Jesusâ call in the arms of her daughter Linda, son-in-law David, and granddaughter Angela with whom she had lived the last 3 ½ years.
