Sue Rees

Sue Rees, 81, of Goreville and Deltona, Florida, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at 4:04 am at Halifax Health in Deltona, Florida.

Sue was born July 22, 1939 in Goreville the daughter of Lowell and Delores (Hudgens) Henderson. She married William Rees on March 9, 1978 in Hamilton, Ohio and together they have shared 43 years of marriage.

She is survived by her Husband, William “Bill” Rees of Deltona, Florida, Brothers, William David (Judy) Henderson of Marion, Carl (Jean) Henderson of Goreville, Sister-in-law, Christine (Gary) Anglie of Brookport and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her Parents and Brother, James Henderson.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at 1 pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Goreville. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5 – 7 pm at the funeral home.

For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Friendship Cemetery Fund. Envelopes will be available and accepted at the funeral home.
