Goreville-Steve Reid, 37, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at St. Louis University Hospital. Steve was born on August 16, 1977 in Bloomington, IL to Stephen and Diane (Otto) Reid.  He married Monica Francis at Goreville First Baptist Church on September 17, 2005. She survives of Goreville. Steve worked at Cook Coal Terminal and attended Grange Hall Church.  He loved to fish and hunt, anything outdoors and especially loved spending time with his daughter Riley.  He will be missed by all. Survivors include: Wife-Monica Reid of Goreville Daughter-Riley Reid of Goreville Parents-Stephen & Diane Reid of Creal Springs Brother-Jeremy Reid and wife Alexis of Bloomington Sister-Mindy Reid of Herrin Maternal Grandmother-Florence Otto of Ava, MO Nieces and nephews: Jillian Bauernfeind Ryder Reid Max Francis He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ben & Patsy Jo Reid and maternal grandfather, Earl Otto. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 11am at Grange Hall Church in Marion with Rev. Kevin McNeely officiating.  Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Buncombe.  Visitation will be on Friday, November 7, 2014 from 5pm-9pm at the church. Memorial donations are suggested to the family c/o Monica for an education fund for Riley and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL  62959.
