Stephen B. Randolph MARION-Stephen B. Randolph, 70, of Marion passed away at 7:50 AM, Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the home of his daughter surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 16, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Marion. Military rites will be held at the cemetery by Marion VFW Post 1301 and American Legion Post 147. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mr. Randolph was born on November 26, 1935 in Marion, Illinois to Raymond and Jewell (Byrn) Randolph. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Julie and John Miller of Carterville; son and daughter-in-law, Rusty and Jeanie Randolph of Crab Orchard; grandchildren, Rachelle Anderson, Dakota Morris, Jesse Phillips, Zachary C. Miller and Trenton J. Miller; first cousins, Myrna and John Geittman and Pat and Leroy Walker; sister-in-law, Donna Randolph; niece, Anne Parker; AND nephews, Andy Randolph and Patrick Randolph. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William Joseph Randolph; sister, Marsha Ann Randolph; and several aunts and uncles. Mr. Randolph was a 50 year member of Carpenters Local #638. He served in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer from 1958 to 1960. He loved to hunt and fish.
