Sonja Elaine Fleming

Sonja Elaine Fleming, age 75, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her home in Marion, Illinois.

Sonja was born March 28, 1947 in Carbondale, Illinois, a daughter of Leon and Ruth (Johnson) Webb. She had been employed at UPS for more than 35 years and the Marion Daily Republican Newspaper for more than 22 years. 

She is survived by one son, Kevin Keith Fleming of Marion, IL and two grandchildren, Barbara Corrin Fleming and Rhyden Keith Fleming.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Ruth (Johnson) Webb and two siblings, Janice Porter and Steven Webb.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 29th, 2022 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at the Tunnel Hill Community of Christ Church.  Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, 1:00 PM at Tunnel Hill Community of Christ with Elder Glenn Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Webb Cemetery in Tunnel Hill.
