Sibyl Bramlet MARION-Sibyl Bramlet, 88, of Marion passed away at 6:00 AM, Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Fountains Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Sunday, December 10, 2006 at Gaskins Funeral Home in Harrisburg with Reverend Dewayne Jolly officiating. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday, December 9, 2006 at Gaskins. Burial will be at Sunset Cemetery in Harrisburg. Memorials may be made to the Gospel Assembly Church in Eldorado; envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Ms. Bramlet was born on October 13, 1918 in Saline County, Illinois to Ora and Minnie May (Blue) Bramlet. Survivors include nieces and nephews, Dorrice Pemberton of Evansville, Indiana, Connie and Georgia Bramlet of Lubbock, Texas, Virginia Lee Fritts of Harrisburg and Gordon Yarbrough of West Frankfort; several great nieces and nephews; special friends, Leon and Carolyn Craig of Goreville; and special friend and caregiver, Tennie Ann Girtman of Goreville. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dean Bramlet; and sister, Erma Yarbrough. Ms. Bramlet was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Eldorado. Her church was the number one in her life. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles with Tennie Ann. Ms. Bramlet retired in 1982 from Olin Corporation where she worked in Research and Development.
