Shiela Antonacci

Sheila C. Antonacci, 79, of Marion, passed away Monday, July 23rd, 2012 at her home. Funeral Mass for Ms. Antonacci will be held at 11am on Thursday, July 26th at the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Marion. There will be a time of visitation at the church from 9-11am. Father Thomas Flach will preside. Ms. Antonacci was born on March 3rd, 1933, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Snyder) Corby. She worked as a RN at Marion Memorial Hospital for 24 years before her retirement. She worked at the Illinois Department of Public Health as a Health Care Investigator during her retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. She enjoyed golf. She enjoyed spending time volunteering in several community organizations. She loved her children and grandchildren very much, and she will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include: Son Bryce Antonacci of Coffeen IL Son Brett Antonacci of Marion IL Son Bruce Antonacci of Marion IL Grandchildren- Brandy Antonacci of Marion, April Antonacci of Guille, and Brandon Antonacci of Marion. Sister- Mary Ann and Tom Gordon Brother Karl and Judy Miller She was preceded in death by her parents, and three of her children; son Brad Antonacci, Daughter Stacey Antonacci and son Gregory Antonacci.
