Dongola-Sherry Emery, 64, passed away at 7:28am on Saturday, November 01, 2014 at her home.
Sherry was born on April 7, 1950 in Carbondale to Harry & Jeanette (Peebles) Lowe Jr. She married Curt Emery on December 17, 1968 at Second Baptist Church in Marion. He survives of Dongola
Sherry worked at Wal-Mart for 12 years. She loved to hunt, ride her motorcycle, drive tractors and horseback riding. Sherry enjoyed spending time on her farm, hanging out with her granddaughter Cody.

The family would like to thank the caregivers from Hospice of Southern Illinois and Addus Health Care.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 3pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Jeff Owens officiating. Burial will be at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Tuesday, from 1pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
Memorial donations are suggested to the family and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
