Shelley Lambert MARION–Shelley Lambert, 56, of Marion passed away at 4:14 AM, Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 12, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Elder Frank Simmons officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, September 11, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be at County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Lambert was born on February 16, 1952 in Herrin, Illinois to Fred and Minnie Belle (Poole) Dunning. She married Robert D. Lambert on October 5, 1990 in Vienna, Illinois; together they shared 17 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband, Robert Lambert of Marion; sons, Scott Farris and Jeff Farris of Marion; daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and James Neal of Marion; grandchildren, Ariel, Jeffery and Mason Edwards, Baylee and Dalton Neal, Erin Farris, Mitchell and Skylar Farris, Alexis Dismore and Marina Bozarth; great grandson, Andrew LeMasters; sisters, Paula Severs and Nancy Garcia; brothers and sister-in-law, Bruce and Angie Dunning and Chuck Dunning; father-in-law, John Lambert; nieces and nephews; and family friends, Kevin Ruhman and Kathy McCollum. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Lambert worked as a motel desk clerk for many years. She loved to play bingo and she loved the outdoors.
