SHELBY JEAN ARROWOOD MARION- 8220;Shelby Jean Arrowood, 70, of Marion passed away at 4:13 P.M., Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 20, 2008 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Shorty Alsip officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the funeral home. Burial will be at McKinney Chapel Cemetery in Marion. Shelby was born on December 12, 1937 in to Charles and Grace (Newton) Hudgens. She married Danny Arrowood on August 30, 1956 in Benton. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2000. Survivors include her daughter Donna J. and Bob Brewer of The Lake of Egypt; Daughter Terry Lynn Roesch of Johnston City; Daughter Kristina Lynn and Eric Johnson of Marion; and son Danny D. and Susan Arrowood of Marion; Grandchildren Talina, Bobbi, Candice, Steven, Lisa, Kyle, Austin, Macey, Kelly, and Mandy; Great-Grandchildren Nevaeha Ryan, Kylee J, Camron, Jaylon, and Breanna; Sister Melva and Bennie Arrowood; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brother Billy Hudgens. She was of Baptist faith; she was a homemaker, she loved to read, enjoyed watching hummingbirds and spending time with her family.
