Shani K. Martin HERRIN-Shani K. Martin, 58, of Herrin passed away at 3:12 AM, Saturday, October 14, 2006 at home surrounded by her family. A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 16, 2006 at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Carterville. Ms. Martin was born August 9, 1948 in Carbondale, Illinois to Winston E. and Doris E. (Belcher) Parker. Survivors include daughter, Andrea Eibeck of Marion; son, Michael J. Price of Florida; daughter, Paula Norris of Marion; grandchildren, Bryan and Dana Craig, Shana Craig and Chelsea Norris all of Marion; great grandchild, Braden Craig; brother, Eugene Parker of Marion; nephew, John Parker of Marion; and special friend, John Tolbert of Herrin. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-law, Daylne Parker; and aunt, Francis Youngblood. Ms. Martin was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit in Carterville. She was a homemaker.
