Sarah Naomi Sullivan Goreville-Naomi Sullivan, 79, of Goreville passed away at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion; her husband was by her side. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the 1st Apostolic Church in Marion, with Reverend R.G. Walls officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2011 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the church. Burial will take place in Busby Cemetery. Naomi was born on February 5, 1932 in Pulley’s Mill to Jesse & Iva (Peterman) Robertson. She married Delbert Sullivan on May 27, 1950 in Herrin; they had just celebrated 61 years together. She is survived by her loving husband, Delbert; children, Eugene & Patsy Sullivan of Ellis Grove, Steve & Becky Sullivan of Belleville, Dennis & Judith Sullivan of Broken Arrow, OK and Sue & Rick Kelton of Marion; grandchildren, Eric & Terry Sullivan, John & Elizabeth Sullivan, Christy & Charles Cox, Melanie & Dale Rutland, Jared & Nicole Sullivan, Ryan & Christine Sullivan, Sarah Sullivan, Kareah Sullivan, Rachelle Sullivan, Christina Unthank and Rickey & Amber Kelton; great-grandchildren, Aiden Sullivan, Wyatt Sullivan, Cooper Sullivan, Courtney Cole, Gentry Rutland, Kylie Sullivan, Austin Kelton and Brayden Kelton; sisters, Lorene & Ray Montgomery, Elva & Donald Robinson and Clara & Fred Elfrank. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John Robertson and Clifton Robertson. She was a member of the 1st Apostolic Church of Marion. Naomi enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She retired from Marion Memorial Hospital. And also loved to cook and take care of her family.
