Sally was born on July 28, 1927 in Pittsburg, Illinois to Lewis and Cora Jane (Goodall) Arnold. Survivors include her husband, Joe Samford of Goreville; daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Tate of Benton; Mary Faughn, who Sally thought of as a daughter and her husband, Steve of Vienna; four grandsons; two granddaughters; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Frank and Tootie Arnold of Georgia and Ernie and Marion Arnold of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeff Wall; sister, Louise Patrick; and two brothers, Ike and Charles Arnold.
