Ryan Keith Bliss GOREVILLE-Ryan Keith Bliss, 28, of Goreville passed away at 8:11 AM, Friday, February 12, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Pastor Cecil Sullivan officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 15, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Friendship Cemetery in Goreville. Memorials may be made to his family; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Ryan was born on October 3, 1981 in Mt. Vernon to Paul and Carolyn (Cunningham) Bliss. He married Jennifer Tate on June 7, 2004 in Williamson County. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer of Goreville; son, Noah Keith Bliss of Goreville; his dog, Max; his parents, Paul and Carolyn Bliss of Johnston City; sister and brother-in-law, Angela and Doug Dunn of Goreville; nephews, Tanner and Briley Dunn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Brian and Venita Wallace of Johnston City; father-in-law, Greg Tate; sister-in-law, Jami and Travis Hickey of Marion; nephew, Race Hickey; sister-in-law, Gracie Tate; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Hubert and Lona Bliss and maternal grandparents, Wayne and Lucille Cunningham. Ryan was a mechanic and worked on anything he could. He enjoyed helping people, riding 3-Wheelers with his son, brother-in-law and nephews, and going to Monster Jam with his son. He loved spending time with his family and was always loyal to his family and friends.
