Roy Dean Stinson, Jr

Roy Dean Stinson Jr., 49 of Marion, Illinois, formerly of Benton, Illinois was born February 20, 1975, in Benton to Roy Dean Stinson Sr. and Paula Kay (Broadway) Stinson. His wishes were to be cremated. 

 Roy is survived by two children, son Colten Scott Sloan, whom he shared with Amanda Worley of Benton, daughter Deanna Kay (Stinson) Yocum (Jonathan) of West Frankfort, whom he shared with Kristy (Engelke) Stinson. Sisters Terena Stinson of Benton, Pamela (Pam) Stinson of Goreville, Lacy Watkins (Brandon) of Benton and his stepsister, Rebekah Manasco (Mac) of Taylorville, Illinois; adopted sister Tazjah Andrews. His brothers, Barry Stinson of Goreville, Jonathan Vaughn of West Frankfort and his stepbrother Leo Levesque and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

 Roy is also survived by his longtime friends, Kelly Colson and her daughter Kimberlee Klump and her three boys, Xander, Jaxxon aka (Jack Jack) and Xoyer, which were his grandchildren. He loved his puppy Onyx he shared with Kelly. 

Roy was loved by many and known by even more. He was a jack of all trades and a master of everything in his eyes. He had a sense of humor like no other at times. Sometimes he was a hard nut to crack but his family and friends all loved him. You will forever be 49 Bub! Love, May. 

 Roy is proceeded in death by his parents, his son Noah Dean Stinson, who passed on January 30, 2014, and his Grandson, Wesley Michael Yocum, step-siblings Lisa Walker and Michael Levesque. The celebration of his life will be at a later date.
