Rosella Wright Anna—Rosella Wright, 83 of Anna passed away peacefully at ten minutes passed nine in the evening at Anna Rehab & Nursing Center on Sunday, November 25, 2012. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Scott Cody & RW McAllister officiating. Mausoleum entombment will follow later that afternoon for immediate family at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. A time of gathering for family and friends is scheduled from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the funeral home. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. Rosella was born Thursday, February 21, 1929 in Massac County to Bennie & Jessie (Clymore) Farmer. She married Carlos Wright in Simpson on Tuesday, July 23, 1946; they were just starting their 66th year of marriage. Mrs. Wright is survived by her devoted husband, Carlos; children, Beverly Ann & Steve Smith of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jesse Wright, Gwen & Arthur Colboth, Eddie Wright and Steven Wright (all of Anna); thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Carlene Wright; siblings, Christine Alsip, Dan Farmer, Kate Marie Lau, Afton Sanders and Benette Alsip. Mrs. Wright was a home maker who put her family first. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her memory shall be cherished by those whose lives she graced and she will be missed.
