Rose M. Green HERRIN- 8220;Rose M. Green, 90, of Herrin passed away at 2:25 AM, Friday, May 2, 2008 at Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, May 5, 2008, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church; envelopes are available from the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Mrs. Green was born November 25, 1917 in Marion to Michael and Irene (Racine) Manfredo. She married Bruce Green; he preceded her in death in 1967. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Lou and Charlotte Manfredo of Springfield; sisters, Angie Randolph and Mary Grimm both of Herrin; nephews and their wives, Robbie and Melanie Randolph of Herrin, Marty and Joni Manfredo and Mike and Lynn Manfredo all of Marion; and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Green was a longtime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Herrin. She enjoyed her church, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
