Ronald "Ron" Brown

Marion-Ronald “Ron” D. Brown, 63, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Ron was born on November 6, 1954 to Douglas C. Brown and Mary (McClaine) Brown. Ron worked as an auto body repairman. He was a longtime member of Backwater Bass Club.  Ron enjoyed fishing and watching his grandkids and nephews play sports.  He was a selfless, kind hearted man who loved spending time with his grandkids; being their taxi driver, breakfast date or riding four wheelers and chasing zombies.  Ron will be missed dearly. Survivors include his forever love, Rosemary; daughter, Kobra Adams and husband Jerry; sons, Matthew Brown and fiancée Allison Frost and Scott Brown and wife Bridgett; granddaughter, Bayly Adams and grandsons, Kypton and Weston Brown. Also surviving are two brothers, Mike Brown and wife Diane and Doug Brown and wife Janet; one sister, Kim Choate; sister in law, Ruth Emery; brother in law, Jesse Watkins and many nieces and nephews. Ron’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
