Roger "Bud" Eastman GOREVILLE - Roger "Bud" Eastman, 82, of Goreville passed away at 3:40 PM, Saturday, May 8, 2010 at Parkway Manor surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at the funeral home with Masonic rites at 7:00 PM conduted by Saline Masonic Lodge 339 AF & AM. Burial will at Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Military rites will be held at the cemetery conducted by VFW Post 1301, American Legion 147 and the National Guard. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or the donor's choice; envelopes are available at the funeral home or may be sent c/o Blue Funeral Home, PO Box 411, Marion, IL 62959. Bud was born August 4, 1927 in Mt. Vernon to Roger M. and Gladys (Burnett) Eastman. He married Pat Ryan on January 31, 1948 in Seattle, Washington; she preceded him in death on June 29, 2005. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Danny and Ellen Eastman of Goreville; daughter, Candy Craig and Todd Bush of Goreville; daughter and son-in-law, Sandi and Doug Atkins of Goreville; ten grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; and sisters and brothers-in-law, Norma Durham and Margie and Harley Ward all of Goreville and Sue and Jack Hancock of Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Bud was a member of Goreville Methodist Church. He served his country with the United States Navy. He was a member of the Saline Masionic Lodge 339 AF & AM and IBEW Local 702. He enjoyed life and he enjoyed his family.
