Robin Palmer

Marion-Robin Palmer, 43, passed away at 3:15 pm on October 5, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Robin was born on March 23, 1970 in Marion to John and Carol (Cravens) Zeigler.  She married James A. Palmer; he preceded her in death on May 24, 2012. Robin was a homemaker and a part time employee of Marion Unit 2 at Lincoln School.  Early in her career she worked as a cosmetologist.  Robin attended Marion First Baptist Church. Survivors include: her children, Adriana Kaye Palmer and Austin Kimmel Baker; her mother and father, Carol and John Zeigler; her sister, Crystal Davis and husband John; niece, Ashtyn Davis;  cousins, Barbara Clendenin, Steve and Lisa Clendenin, Keith and Martha Clendenin, Todd and Stephanie Church, Angie and Jason Butler and aunt, Carol Nolen. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at 12pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with the Rev. Greg Gibbs officiating.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.  Visitation will be on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
