Bob Wall

Robert Ray "Bob" Wall, age 85, of Marion, Illinois, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023 at his home in Marion, Illinois.

Bob was born June 28, 1938 in Creal Springs, Illinois, a son of Stella (McGuire) White-Wall and Omer C. Wall. He married the love of his life, Thelma (Loard) Wall on September 14, 1980 in Long Beach , CA. Robert had retired from the United States Postal Service.

He is survived by his wife- Thelma (Loard) Wall of Marion, IL; one daughter- Judithann E. Wall of Marion, IL; Step-Son- Thomas E. Olsen of Marion, IL, Step-Sons- Tom and Cliff Thompson of CA, one brother- Jim (Norma) Wall of Grafton, OH; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Omer C. Wall and Stella Marie (McGuire) White-Wall; brother- Joe Wall and half-sister- Myrtle (White) Lydioff.

Bob was a very special man, loved by all who knew him, never to be forgotten.

Services will be held at a later date. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with final arrangements.
