Robert Steveson

Marion-Robert "Bob" "Rob" A. Steveson, 65, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. Robert was born on April 13, 1951 in Redlands, CA to James and Mary Annie (Arnold) Steveson. He married Corinne McCoy in Mason City on November 25, 1973. Robert served in the U.S Air Force. He was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, where he was a council member, former minister, mentored the youth and sang in the choir. Robert was a life student at Eden Seminary, a member of the VFW and the NRA. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include: Father-James Steveson of Marion Wife-Corinne Steveson of Marion Children: Michelle and Efren Canizales of Jonesboro, AR Jason Steveson of West Frankfort Jeremy and Della Steveson of Marion Joshua and Tori Steveson of Junction City, KS Grandchildren: Anthony Canizales Lilly Steveson Lucas Steveson Robert Steveson Kiley Steveson James Steveson Katie Steveson Sisters-Leslie Ebright of Herrin and Mary and Bennie Boyd of Mason City Brother-Jim Steveson of Mason City Several nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Annie Burham. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 11am at Zion United Church of Christ in Marion with Rev. John Holst officiating. Visitation will also be on Saturday from 10am until the time of service at the church. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
