Marion-Robert “Bobby” Joseph Stapleton, 48, passed away at 6:19am on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Robert was born on October 6, 1966 in Marion to William and Rossitta (Hellberg) Stapleton. He loved to fish and hunt and enjoyed working on the river. Robert will be missed by all Survivors include: Brother-Billy Stapleton and wife Chana of Pittsburg Nephew-Garin Stapleton of Pittsburg Niece-Samantha Dahmer and husband Adam of Marion Brother-in-law-Jeff Smith He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Patty Peppers and Brenda Smith Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2014 at 10am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Chris Cutsinger officiating. Burial will follow at Oddfellows Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations are suggested to the kidney foundation and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home/ 1704 N. Court St/ Marion, IL 62959.
