Robert Lee Robertson

Creal Springs-Robert Lee Robertson, 80, passed away at 6:40 am on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Parkway Manor Nursing Home surrounded by family. Robert was born on April 23, 1933 in Johnson County to Audry and Gusta (Simmons) Robertson. He married Barbara Robertson on May 22, 1954. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2012. Robert retired from LaFarge Cement Company as a General Foreman. He enjoyed farming. Survivors include: Five Children: Pamela Jo and Harold Meyers of Bush Mike and Karen Robertson of Goreville Rhonda and Chris Boner of Marion Lee Ann and Jonathan Cowfer of White House, TN Mark D. and Shana Robertson of Creal Springs Eight Grandchildren: Melissa Robertson Jason and Brittany Robertson Brock Boner Kegan Boner Randy and Kaci Robertson Rachel Robertson Zachary Cowfer Hannah Cowfer Sisters: Shirley and Melvin Powell Wanda Lowery Sister in law-Janet Robertson He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and brother Virgil Robertson Graveside services will be held on Sunday, July 28 at 9:30 am at County Line Cemetery in Creal Springs with the Rev. Kenny Blumenstock officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
