Robert F. Boelloeni MARION-Robert F. Boelloeni, 84, of Marion passed away at 3:30 AM, Friday, September 25, 2009 at the home of his daughter surrounded by his family. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, September 27, 2009 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Leroy Waggoner officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery in St. Louis with full military honors at 1:00 PM, Monday, September 28, 2009. Robert was born on December 27, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri to John and Alvina (Hadirfield) Boelloeni. He married Leona Jenkins on January 25, 1960 in St. Louis; together they shared 49 years of marriage. Survivors include his wife, Leona; daughter and son-in-law, Danette and Art Pieroni; grandsons, Robert Pieroni and his wife, Caroline and Blake Pieroni and his fiancé, Brittany Magsig and her daughter, Zoey; great grandson on the way; sister, Marge Stiener; and brother, Al “Red” Boelloeni. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Harry, Billy and Eddie Boelloeni; and sisters, Marcie Martin and Rose Eatherton. Robert was a member of Lake of Egypt Christian Church. He was a member of the Lake of Egypt Association and Security Patrol and St. Louis VFW. He coached Legion baseball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan.
