Robert Emmerson MARION-Robert Emmerson, 77, of Marion passed away at 2:15 PM on Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at his residence. Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 10, 2006 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Tom Emmerson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Friday, March 7, 2006 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Memorial may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home or may be sent: co, Blue Funeral Home, P.O. Box 411, Marion, Illinois 62959. Mr. Emmerson was born on January 21, 1929 to Ray and Flossie Emmerson. He married Betty Troutman on April 28, 1970 in Marion. He is survived by his wife; children, Tom and Debbie Emmerson of Metropolis, Tim and Terri Emmerson of Grand Tower, Robin and Jim Holland of Lexington, Kentucky, Robert and Linda Woodard of Marion; grandchildren, Ethan Emmerson, Christi and Chris Morris, Andrew Emmerson, Ashley Emmerson, Micky Emmerson, Chris and Amy Holland, Jamie Lynn Holland; great grandchildren, Preston Morris and Linzy Emmerson; sisters, Cleta Wunderlich and Donna Monroney.
