Robert Almaroad

Robert Almaroad Marion- Robert Almaroad, 94, passed away at 1:00am on Saturday July 16th 2011 at Shawnee Christian Nursing Center. Funeral Services for Mr. Almaroad will be held at Blue Funeral Home on Tuesday July 19, 2011 at 11am. A visitation will be held from 10:00 am to the service hour at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Aldersgate and will be accepted at the funeral home. Rev Tim Ozment will be officiating. Mr. Almaroad was born on August 19th, 1916 to George and Flossie Almaroad, who precede him in death. On June 6, 1942 he married wife Helen, who preceded him in death October 10, 2008. He is survived by daughter Nancy Woolard of West Frankfort, son Larry Almaroad and wife Dianna of Grapevine TX, son Jerry Almaroad and wife Gale of Mt. Vernon IL, and son Dale Almaroad and wife Lillian of Herrin, and daughter-in-law Marlene Almaroad of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Leighann Tabler, Darrell Woolard, Doug Woolard, Kevin Woolard, Jarrod Almaroad, Jessica Almaroad, Amanda Almaroad, Alexis Mead, Ronnie Almaroad JR, Teresa Guinzy, sixteen great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen Almaroad, two infant children, son Ronnie Almaroad Sr, brother George Almaroad, sister Naomi Craig and son-in-law Gerald Woolard.
