Rita C. Price

Rita C. Price, age 74, of Colp, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Rita was born September 14, 1948 in Harrisburg, Illinois, a daughter of Allen and Beulah (Winters) Mathews. She married James C. Tolbert and he preceded her in death. She later married Ralph "Sonny" Price, who also preceded her in death. Prior to her retirement, Rita had worked as a caregiver and CNA for most of forty years. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law- Rickey and Shannon Tolbert

Son- Danny Buchannan

Grandchild- Haley Tolbert

Grandchild- Harmony (Jake) Holliday

Great Grandchildren- Trystyn and Ada Holliday

Brother- Roy (Martha) Mathews

Sister- Lisa Lynn Davis

Sister- Laura Mae Cunningham

Several Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her siblings- Edward Mathews, George (Bonnie) Mathews, Johnny Mathews, Shirley Faye Bullock, Barbara Sue Tolbert, and an infant sister.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 25th, 2023 from 10:00 AM - 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2023, 10:30 AM at Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Private burial will follow at Adams Cemetery in Rock Creek.
