Ricky Dale Lannom

Ricky Dale Lannom, Sr. HERRIN-Ricky Dale Lannom, Sr., 51, of Herrin passed away at 3:40 PM, Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. John Simpson officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until time of the service on Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Ricky was born January 3, 1956 in Marion, Illinois to Harry and Thelma (Conley) Lannom. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Kristina and David Irby of Carterville; son, Ricky Lannom, Jr. of Herrin; grandson, Braeden Irby; brothers and sisters-in-law, Billie Wayne and Aileen Lannom of Genoa and Jack and JoAnn Lannom of Clyde, Texas; sisters and brother-in-law, Sharon Lee Grady of Marion, Karen Sue Beyer of Elgin and Kay and Joe Heinecke of Ixonia, Wisconsin; several nieces and nephews; and the mother of his children, Lee Ann Lannom of Herrin. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wes, Donnie Lee and Gary Lannom; sister, Judy Ann Lannom; and twin grandsons, Gage Michael and Gavin Lee Irby. Ricky loved to fish, play pool, NASCAR and playing with his grandson. He was of the Baptist faith.
