Rhonda Jean Jones MARION-Rhonda Jean Jones, 48, of Marion passed away at 5:25 AM, Monday, June 18, 2007 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Mike Ebert officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Buncombe. Mrs. Jones was born August 7, 1958 in East St. Louis, Illinois to Arthur and Berniece (Mizell) Tucker. She married George Jones in September of 1976 in Marion; together they shared 30 years of marriage. Survivors include her husband George of Marion; son, Damon Jones; grandchildren, Abby and Alex; her parents, Arthur and Berniece Tucker of Edinburgh, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rita and David Sloan of Johnston City, Ruth Ann McDonald of Marion and Rachel and Darren Sneed of Johnston City; brother, Randy Tucker of Marion; father-in-law and his wife, George and Mary Jones; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and Toby Coleman; sister-in-law, Tonya Jones and Jim Crabb; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Baraka and Pattie Jones; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Tucker and mother-in-law, Phyllis Jones. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker. She loved to garden and she loved antiques. She was a 1976 graduate of Johnston City High School. She loved her family and will be missed by all.
